- Este álbum consta de dos discos. El primero recoge los grandes éxitos hasta el momento de Michael Jackson en solitario. El segundo consta de 14 canciones nuevas más "Come Together".
Dos de sus temas se vieron envueltos en polémica y tuvieron que ser editadas posteriormente: "They Don't Care About Us" sufrió censura en su letra sustituyendo ciertas palabras por ruidos y "HIStory" tuvo problemas legales de autor por la música usada al principio que fue modificada más tarde.

1996 - Pre-History
- Los Jackson 5 se dieron a conocer al mundo entero en 1969 de la mano de la discográfica Motown, pero no fue dicha discográfica quien los "descubrió". Años atrás consiguieron firmar con una más pequeña llamada "Steeltown", para la que grabaron varias canciones, siendo "Big Boy" la que les dió algo de fama local. En 1996 se lanzó este disco que recoge muchas de las grabaciones de la época, las cuales eran de poca calidad pero un testimonio fidedigno del verdadero comienzo de este gran grupo.

- Es una colección de 20 singles. Cada single viene en un CD formato DUAL DISC, que además de traer las canciones por una cara, contenía el videoclip en DVD por la otra.
Lo subiré entero aunque no aporte nada "nuevo", y digo "nuevo" porque si uno no es asiduo a los singles, versiones que aquí se encuentran no lo podrán encontrar en ninguna otra parte.

- Este disco no tiene ninguna novedad en sí ya que todas las canciones han sido publicadas.... pero no de este modo. Hago una excepción para poner un recopilatorio de mixes donde enfatizan la voz del joven Michael y reducen la cantidad y volumen de instrumentos que componen cada canción para poder apreciar más claramente la potencia de su joven voz.
Como curiosidad, este disco ha sido lanzado bajo dos nombres: "The Stripped Mixes" y "The Motown 50 Mixes". Así consta en la portada y en el disco, pero el contenido es el mismo.
